Assessment of Physicochemical, Anticancer, Antimicrobial, and Biofilm Activities of N-Doped Graphene

Nanomedicine has been used as a precise treatment for many diseases. The advantage of using nanodrugs is that they have more permeability and less toxicity to cells, which enhances the drug delivery system. Graphene well known its potential biological applications in drug, food, pharma industries. This study aimed assess productivity potentiality nitrogen-doped graphene (NDG) evaluate their anticancer, antimicrobial, biofilm inhibition activity. Nitrogen-doped was synthesized by one-pot facile synthesis NDG, wherein NDG prepared reduction oxide (GO) presence hydrazine hydrate reducing agent, while ammonium hydroxide source nitrogen on surface graphene. As-synthesized characterized various characterization techniques such UV-Vis, FT-IR, XRD, XPS, TEM, N2 sorption studies analysis. Antimicrobial, assays were performed standard protocols. N-doped showed better activity against Gram-positive bacteria, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Bacillus subtillis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, mutans (p ? 0.05), whereas there no Gram-negative strains Klebsiella pneumoniae Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Biofilm also improved with compared ampicillin. results both MCF-7 Hela cell lines IC50 27.15 µg/mL 30.85 µg/mL, respectively. In conclusion, best ability use biomolecule, research focusing proteomics, metabolomics, vivo are needed increase impact industry.
